A few things I have been loving, from home to beauty to classic wardrobe staples.
In partnership with Ralph Lauren
This week I’m thinking about the things that bring me joy. Not the big, obvious stuff, but those small discoveries that shift your mood and make your day. Some happen to be from Ralph Lauren (because everything happening over there right now is brilliant classic perfection), others I found in a bookstore, scrolling late at night, or just stumbling onto something beautiful. Here are fifteen things I’m genuinely obsessed with right now.
Key Tassels - I’ve had tassels on my car keys for years, but lately I have been loving having these around the home. It’s such an easy way to add a charming and personal touch. I’ve been putting them on our closet knobs and in the kids bedrooms, but I think throwing them around any door is perfect.
Seremoni - It’s become so important for me to feed my family ethically sourced meats and fish. Davide and I made dinner this week with fish from Seremoni, which is all wild caught and humanely harvested. It’s absolutely delicious, so incredibly good for you, and guilt free.
Linen Shirt - What a classic. LA has been very weather confused, so having an extra layer that still feels chic and elevated has been my saving grace, especially on days when I’m in workout clothes. I personally love the blue and white, but you truly can’t go wrong with any color.
The Motherload - I just did a book talk with Sarah at Lido Books in Newport, which was an HONORE because I LOVE THIS BOOK. It’s a beautiful and raw read on the realities of motherhood, but you absolutely do not need to be a mom to enjoy. I love how she talks about her relationship, her friends, her career and weaves art history throughout. It’s a very modern day Sex and the City situation. I usually put off reading but I haven’t been able to put this one down.
Monogrammed Lamp Shade - OK I saw this on the Millenial Decorator’s substack - which is FIRE btw - and I ordered for my bedroom and vanity. Originally I was going to order them for the lights in Carmela’s room, but I think they would be so chic on a hanging chandelier too… so be prepared to see these all around the house.
Beaded Shoulder Bag - Love a fun bead and pop of color!! The shape and details are gorgeous - and it’s the perfect bag that can be worn to a daytime or to make an evening look more playful and fun. What a fun summer bag.
Seaside Stripe Pillow - I am the biggest Olive Ateliers fan, my house and garden are FULL. The collection with Pamela is a must! This is a perfect outdoor pillow that’s not too much and tastefully welcomes Spring and Summer.
Bar di Bello - New perfect Italian spot that opened in Silverlake right on Sunset. Great vibes, great drinks, yummy food.
Initial Bangle - Obviously had to get these with Carmela and Carlo’s names on them!!! How perfect are they? I feel like so many name pendants have been overdone but this feels like such a unique staple. I need to have like ten more kids so I have an excuse to buy more. So much of what I wear is from my gal Mandy.
Mesh Polo Top - Another amazing classic everyone should own. With the right accessories, this top feels so classic and timeless. My sister came over last week wearing a white one with a blank pencil skirt and it was SO 90’s chic le freak.
Dialog Cafe Chicken Caesar Wrap - Don’t ask me why it took me so long to hop on the Dialog train but I’m so happy I’m finally here. I make sure to pick this up anytime I head to West Hollywood and shovel in my car on my commute home. It hits every craving and is sooo soooo good.
Toning Pads - This has been such a vital step in my skincare routine. The pads make it so easy, especially for travel. I love an easy step where I don’t have to really think, and I feel so clean and refreshed after using them.
Simple Mills Protein Pancake Mix - Blend this mix with a scoop of cottage cheese, an egg, gluten free oats, and baking powder. Trust me. I make them for the kids and have them as my protein/carb post workout. I live for an easy breakfast and this sustains me for a few hours at least.
Leather Sandal - HOW INSANELY CUTE. These really itch the sandal scratch in such a perfect way. I have them in red and they look so great with jeans, sweats, dresses…everything.
Hydrangea Vase - Another Olive Ateliers x Pamela collection piece that is just PERFECT. Use it for fab summer cocktails or a vase!
Before I say goodbye… Don’t miss my most recent solo episode on EVERYTHING IS THE BEST where I dive into some of my recent struggles and thoughts about all the wild things that are currently going on in my brain. I get into the complexities of motherhood and how I’ve felt since sharing my recent article on Carmela. I also discuss friendship ebbs and flows, the inevitable downside of the internet, and how I’ve learned to cope with the changes life has brought me.
With love, Pia Baroncini
